In light of recent events, Mount Washington Cemetery is making a few changes that we wanted you to be aware of. First and foremost, we want you to know that your health, and that of your family, and of the families we serve, is our top priority. It is now clear that COVID-19 will present unique challenges to our office, our communities, and our families for the foreseeable future. We remain committed to helping families the best way we can during this time. We encourage everyone to follow our example in adhering to the CDC’s guidelines throughout this to help prevent the spread of illness:
Effective immediately, our offices will be closed to the general public, but rest assured, we are still here for you all day, every day. Our phones are answered 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and we will be working to fill all non-essential requests over the phone and email in a timely manner.
As we are classified as an essential business, we will continue to meet with families when a death has occurred, and funeral and interment services, where they are able to conform to state and federal health guidelines, will continue to be conducted. We will endeavor to notify you immediately in the event that this should change.
Mount Washington must maintain a healthy workplace not only for ourselves but for the families we serve. As a company we want to be proactive in protecting the health and wellness of our entire team as well as our valued customers. We will remain ever diligent in the following tasks:
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. This will likely prove a uniquely challenging period for us all. Our intent is to remain vigilant in being prepared for what is coming. We care about you and your loved ones and want to ensure we are all taking proper precautions.
